When people want to lose weight they start by cutting out food groups such as carbs.

This is an approach and you will lose weight. But it does not lead to long term success!

Who wants to cut out carbs?

That’s just boring.

By cutting out carbs, or any other food group becomes stressful, boring and unenjoyable.

You will maintain this for a few weeks, then you will more than likely binge and wreck your progress.
The reason it will wreck your progress is that you will/could become disheartened and upset at what you have done and potentially give up.

The best approach is to just use a simple overall calorie deficit. Such as reducing the amount of rice, milk, fizzy drinks etc. This will create a calorie deficit and help you to lose weight!
