When people are on the journey of weight loss or any training, they get hung up on the training aspect, we focus solely on training and forget about the rest of the day and other elements. 

 

What I mean by this is, we focus on the gym. But this is only one aspect of the journey. But a gym session for the majority of people lasts for one hour. 

 

But if you’re only worried about one hour, then the rest of the day goes to waste. 

 

The other 23 hours of your day are not being worked to your advantage. 

 

Now I’mI’m not saying you should be training for ages. That would ruin you, or you would only train once or twice per week. 

 

What I’mI’m saying is, continue with your gym training but learn to adapt to the rest of the day. 

 

Learn to add lots of different aspects to your day, which will help you on your journey. 

 

These could be things like setting a step goal. 

 

I know everyone says this, but aiming to get 10,000 steps would burn an extra 400-500 calories per day, which adds up to an extra 2,800-3,500 calories per week! 

 

Along with the step goal, it could also be to try and stand more throughout the day. Again seems simple, but besides that is more calories burnt throughout the day and week. 

 

Increase your water intake throughout the day, by drinking more water throughout the day. You will be keeping yourself full and therefore eating less. 

 

By looking to add in these types of things throughout the day, you will be more likely to succeed and achieve your goal. Don’tDon’t just focus on one thing, such as the gym, learn to focus on other areas of the day, which will help you succeed.
