I came across a really good quote the other day which was ‘Success is the sum of small efforts. Repeated. Day in and Day out’.
This can be related to your training and nutrition.
Don’t go making large changes in one go. This will be okay in the short term but in the long term it will not help you at all. As one day you will go ‘Sod it “ and eat and drink everything in sight. This is because by making those massive changes you have caused an alien environment which you are not comfortable in. Barely, if any of them will become a habit/ lifestyle change, it will just lead to unhappiness and failure towards your goal.
If you want to make positive change and want to succeed towards your goal then I would suggest that you make small positive changes.
For example, if you change one small thing every day that leads to 365 positive changes in a year! This could be as simple as aiming to drink more water throughout the day, not eating that mars bar during lunch etc.
